Effects of amino acids on olfactory‐related receptors regulating appetite in silver pomfret

چکیده
Silver pomfret (Pampus argenteus) performs a significant appetite for jellyfish, and amino acids are common components of the natural prey fish, so we investigated effect aspartic acid, glycine cysteine (high-content acid in jellyfish) on olfactory-related receptors regulating silver pomfret. The fish showed attractant responses to these water, which were also observed improve ingestion rates fish. Next, conducted transcriptomes olfactory epithelium (OE) identified 34 receptor genes including receptors, trace amine-associated vomeronasal genes, examined OE appetite-related (ghrelin leptin gut/stomach neuropeptide Y, agouti-related protein proopiomelanocortin brain) by qRT-PCR. significantly expressed groups, expression level was highest group. Thus, induced might regulate through OE–brain–gut stomach axis. Using data, some effective phagostimulants could be supplied diet, results improved our understanding mechanism

The effects of morphine and nicotine co-administration on body weight, food intake and appetite-regulating peptides in rats
Previous studies in humans and animals have reported that nicotine administration decreases body weightand caloric intake. Opiate and cigarette have been used concomitantly as drug abuse. The aim of the present study was, therefore, to analyze the effect of chronic co-administration of nicotine and morphine on food intake, body weight and on some feeding-associated peptides. All experiments wer...
متن کاملthe effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends
flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...
Effects of glucagon on plasma amino acids.
The effects of glucagon deficiency and excess on plasma concentrations of 21 amino acids were studied in six normal human subjects for 8 h. During glucagon deficiency, produced by intravenous infusion of somatostatin (0.5 mg/h) and insulin (5 mU/kg per h), amino acid concentration (sum of 21 amino acids) rose from 2,607 +/- 76 to 2,922 +/- 133 microM after 4 h (P less than 0.025). The largest i...
متن کاملTheoretical study of the solvent effects on the thermodynamic functions of Alanine and Valine Amino Acids
Using Gaussian 03, software the thermodynamic functions such as Gibbs free energy, G, Enthalpy, H, and Entropy, S, of Alanine and Valine amino acids were theoretically studied at different solvents. First, the Density Functional Theory (B3LYP) level with 3-21G, 6-31G and 6-31+G basis sets were employed to optimization of isolated Alanine and Valine amino acids in the gas phase. Moreover, Vib...
